- Preparation of QAP, Study of Technical Specification & Drawings etc…and correlating with P.O. Specification/Technical Data Sheet.
- Carrying out Quality Audit of Material Testing Laboratories before registering them as Approved labs for our valued Clients & conducting Periodic Auditing as per ISO Procedure.
- To Carry out Pre – dispatch inspection of various Mechanical & Electrical Items at Supplier’s Premises as per approved QAP/Drawings and P.O Specification (All the Necessary Testing Arrangement to be arranged by supplier as per approved QAP).
- Approval of Technical Specifications & QAP, Follow up/Stage Inspection as per Client’s requirements.
- Formulating Inspection Procedures for Various items/parts of Equipments as per Indian and International Standards.
- Carrying out Capacity Assessment of Vendors before placement of Orders and registration as approved supplier.
- Developing Vendors by making them follow approved QAPs and Testing Procedures.
- Developing Vendors for import substitution items for Pellet and Sponge Iron Plants.
- Scrutinizing of Inspection & Test Reports of Vendors as per P.O Specifications & Drawings for items on offer for inspection and suggesting Improvements.
- Welders Training & Qualification of Welders, WPS/PQR approval from External Agencies.
- Expediting and progress monitoring of various equipment and spares for existing Projects.
- Training of Personnel on Welding & General Inspections.
